In this webinar, we will explore how emotional, psychological and social well-being affect how students and staff think, feel and act. The integration of mental health considerations within behavioral support systems will be discussed along with ways school practitioners can work together to meet the mental health needs of all students.
Our guest expert is Dr. Amy Grosso, Director of Behavior Health Services at Round Rock ISD. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s of Science in Educational Psychology. Dr. Grosso completed her Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After working as a mental health counselor with Wake Forest Baptist Health she transitioned to education. Dr. Grosso serves as the Board Chair for the Central Texas Chapter of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. She lives in Round Rock with her husband, six-year-old son, and puppy!
