Cultivating the Classroom

Building clear and effective classroom processes.
Many teachers have a common story – whether trained through a traditional university track, an alternative certification cohort, or through online certification – addressing classroom behavior presents a significant challenge.

Unfortunately, even several years into their career, many teachers feel underprepared and lack the tools and training to create an effective classroom management plan.

OUR FRAMEWORK IS DESIGNED TO

1

Build Classroom Plans

Designed for immediate implementation.
2

Engage in Coaching

Pair with coaching support from Emergent Tree educators.
3

Provide Reporting

Share with campus support staff for coaching and evaluation.

We Offer Several Options for Engaging with this Framework

1

Online Certification Course

Participants will design processes and strategies for each component using the Emergent Tree Classroom Planning Template, wrapping up the course with a complete and comprehensive classroom plan that will improve student outcomes and boost teacher confidence and competence. Together that is how we grow a better future from the ground up!

2

Virtual Live or In-Person Training

Take the online certification to the next level and strengthen your team with personalized training and coaching as a group.

Available virtually or in-person.

Results & Partnerships

We’ve partnered with hundreds of schools in the United States to deliver amazing results through our framework for multi-tiered systems of behavior support. We’re committed to helping your campus or district build sustainable systems to support the social, emotional, and behavior needs of students and staff. But you don’t have to take our word for it!

Here’s what some of our partner campuses and districts have said about our work:

Cultivating the classroom was an excellent program for all teachers, no matter the amount of experience or age. The course helps you dive deeper into why you do what you do and reevaluate your processes based on your desired outcome. The course is ideal for end-of-year or summer training to prepare for the following year.  Paraprofessionals and other staff members can also benefit from parts of the course. It helps everyone be on the same page about expectations and how to communicate with kids.  Scheduled meetings with a facilitator were great because they allowed time for private reflection during the course and group share outs and discussions as we progressed.
The Cultivating, The Classroom Course, allowed me to create a classroom management plan while moving through the course. I was also able to reflect on my past class experiences and make changes appropriate for this year.
